"The ornament of a house is the friends who
frequent it. There is no event greater in life than the appearance of
new persons about our hearth, except it be the progress of the character
which draws them." - Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803-1882)
God, I hate Blogger. All I want to do is change one link and it won't let me do it. Oh it pretends to, it even logs into my server und uploads the new file, but no update. I've almost got iBlog working the way I want and then I can be free of blogger.
Sorry folks, I've been vegging in front of the TV when I haven't been unpacking my new apartment. the living room almost looks presentable. ;-)
Work has kept me busy and tired and in need of relaxation without much effort so that means no computer obsession. :-)
And that, folks, is why I haven't blogged as much recently.

Well, I haven't done any work on the new blog template. I have begun working on the new look for my website and will finish the blog template once I have that worked out. The current dark look is very cool on my monitor, but some of it can barely be read on my friend Andarius' monitor. So I'm going to make it brighter and hopefully nicer looking. I'll keep you all posted of my progress. I'm off to work now for some more weekend fun! ;-)
Eventually I would like it to be indistinguishable from this one.
There are only email comments at this point. I shouldn't have any trouble implimenting the comment code once I have the rest of it right. Once I have it the way I want it I will buy i Blog.
We shall see. I'm off to the Doctor's office at 2:40pm today. The first day I went to see him after having not seen him in many, many years, my blood pressure was a little high. I was kinda nervous. When I visited my surgeon about the cyst on my neck I was nervous and my BP was a little high. The day of the surgery it was normal as I was just happy to have the cyst removed. The day I went to have the stitches out I was nervous as I knew it would hurt, so my BP was high. My surgeon called my doctor and told him to check my BP. My doctor left a message on my machine about it and one on my parent's machine. I guess doctor patient confidentiality is meaningless.
Trying an app I found called iBlog, today. Several of the reviews spoke of how blogging seemed intimidating until they tried it. So far, it's intimidating to me, but then I've customized my blogger template so much that starting from scratch sucks. I suppose I should really finish my HTML/CSS book so I can really learn how to do this stuff. I have too many interests and I float from one to another, seldom completing anything.
I haven't posted any links to my sad attempts at using iBlog, but if I have success I'd like to switch the whole blog to it. Oh well, we'll see where it goes from here.
Dad, hasn't blogged in a while. I know he reads my blog though.
