Fred
Today
would have been Fred's birthday. He would have been only 57, but he died January
10th of this year. For newer readers, Fred was Jon's father in law. He was a
great Man who died of a number of causes. Fred had a stroke back in 1982 that
left him a mute quadriplegic. Jon cared for him the entire time he was married
to Laura, up until Fred's death. Fred died in January, Jon and Laura's
anniversary was in April, that was when Laura started considering divorce.
Shortly after that she and the kids had a an apartment and I had a room mate.
Jon payed for her apartment till she got a job and still gives her most of his
paycheck. He's a good guy, a good Dad, and a good friend. He'd be a good husband
to the right woman too. One who would accept him and appreciate him like all of
us, his friends, do. I miss Fred and so does Jon. Fred was a good guy, a good
Dad, and a good friend too.
