Rick's PC and my BlogRick
has an HP Pavilion XT958. He had it for a while and then started having major
problems with it. Both the CD and DVD drives stopped working and he lost
internet access. Earlier this week, he brought it over and we hooked it up and
began the process of trying to get it up and running. I now have it set up as a
fully functional Windows 98 PC. His computer came with no restore disks so we
are having to improvise. It has been interesting and I am learning more and more
about Windows. I do like Windows XP Professional much better than any previous
versions. I still haven't fixed the DVD drive, it may be dead, I'm not sure
yet.
I
have been working on migrating the blog to the main directory so when you go to
http://merelyadequate.net , you see the same
thing as if you went to http://merelyadequate.net/weblog/index.html.
Right now I just have identical blogs in both directories, I'm not sure where I
will go from here.
