Movie and Book update

I've decided to try to keep up with blogging about the movies, books and music in my life.

Let's see, last Friday Dad and I went to see The Forbidden Kingdom and both really enjoyed it. Bill and I went on Sunday to see Forgetting Sarah Marshall, which was very funny. Robyn and I usually watch a movie together over the phone on Saturday nights. Last week it was Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Askaban, which she had just finished reading and last night it was In The Land of Women. We enjoyed both movies.

I'm currently reading The Jesus Mysteries - Was the "original Jesus" a pagan god? It's very good so far. I already knew quite a bit of this, but it's good to have it all in one place and so enjoyably written.

Yup! The Forbidden Kingdom was lots of fun. I thought I read somewhere that Jet Li was not going to make any more martial arts movies but I'm glad he is!! I saw Forgetting Sarah Marshall too and really enjoyed it. I saw The Land of Women about a year ago and thought it was good too. I've not ready The Jesus Mysteries and who's that "Harry Potter" fellow?

Yeah, In the Land of Women was very good. As was Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Although the book was better.

I am now reading "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I made it past the 100 mark already, and I've had the book for a little over a week. Mike, aren't you proud? grin
