Probably is. With each advance in technology we have a new opportunity to squander the resources it uses or use them wisely and to use the new technology responsibly or without regard to others or our environment. Greed seems to push some to squander and disregard. Big oil and the US auto companies are a couple of current examples as well as our current president and his crowd.

Walden Pond is a wonderful place and when you see the cabin he stayed in when he was there it makes you think how much change there has been!
