Please vote tommorow...your future depends on it

If you live in the U.S., please vote tomorrow. I don't care who you vote for, but just do it. Your future depends on it.

They came first for the Communists,
and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Communist.

Then they came for the Jews,
and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew.

Then they came for the trade unionists,
and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Catholics,
and I didn't speak up because I was a Protestant.

Then they came for me,
and by that time no one was left to speak up. - Pastor Martin Niemöller (1892–1984)

I sure agree with you Mike! If we don't all educate ourselves about the candidates and issues, and vote, we all lose. Great quote!!

I love that quote! My problem with elections now is that it is no longer about the issues. It is about humiliating and degrading the opponent. I will vote tomorrow, no question. But we do need to change the way these elections are run.

I agree with Robyn. I wish the candidates would stick with the issues instead of trying to degrade the opponent. To me, that is just a reflection of the person who is doing the degrading, and I sure wouldn't vote for him or her. But right now we are off to vote.
Have a good day tongue
Love you,
Mom

OK, this has nothing to do with the elections (though I did vote and am also sick of our current process), but I wasn't certain if I had your updated email addy. Stacie and I may be heading Canton way over Thanksgiving weekend... are you going to be around? Drop me a line and let me know...
