Dad sent me the following article.

Robertson Calls for Chavez Assassination

Exactly how long has it been since Robertson read his Bible? He and his political agenda have pretty much made him the poster child for separation of church and state. Ever watch his show? He's always come across as so fake to me. This just beats all. So much for a gospel of love.

I heard this on the news this morning as I was waking up, and I couldn't believe that he would have said that. But I did hear him as the "news" replayed his comment in context. I agree with you Mike.

I was equally stunned to hear such comments from anyone let alone Pat Robertson.... I was watching "Countdown" on MSNBC and the one guy made a good point about how the Bush Administration was kinda blowing it off but how much different their comments would have been from someone not representing so much of their base...like Jesse Jackson for instance... if ever there was a need for the separation of church and state...

The man is not a minister. He's a money grubbing political extremist. I'm somewhere between agnostic and atheist, and I can recognize the difference between faith and fraud.
